My first Giveaway!

RJ, over at "my barn on the web"  is having his first giveaway.  RJ has such a generous heart, that he's inspired me to do MY first giveaway, as well.

So, with the cold weather back with a vengeance, my first giveaway will be a pair of half gloves to warm your hands.  just reply to this post by Friday, March 25 at noon, and let me know what ou favorite farm animal is, and why.  you could win a lovely pair of handspun, hand knit half gloves!

Fiber giveaway

I ended up not turning the  fiber from Union Street into baby stuff- it was a little too chunky for that.  It ended up half gloves and headbands for the girls my son hangs around with.  I'll have to get pics at some point.

Blustery Week?

Monday was grey and windy, Tuesday was grey and windy , Yesterday was lovely, if you discount the wind.  Beautiful sunny blue skies... so I decided to find a sheltered spot, and take photos of stuff for ETSY.  It only sort of worked.  Got LOTS of great photos, in between chasing mittens, stocking and scarves trying to escape down the driveway.  At one point the WHOLE BIN took off down the driveway- that's when I decided I had enough to work on for the day......

Autumn on the river

Lovely new roving, I can't wait to spin it up.  6 oz of superfine Merino, in a colorway that reminds me of autumn on the river... This will have to make something for a water rat......
